baddel daddel app (core project)
The baddel daddel app is the heart of Empire Brand Building AG. The goal is to create a family-friendly all-in-one shopping app that, in the long term, combines both used items in the C2C model and new goods from retailers in the marketplace model . Second-hand products are listed exclusively by users, while retailers can offer new products in parallel.
Within one app, two different marketplaces are created – a kind of "app within the app" – that are clearly separated from each other, but together offer a holistic shopping experience for families.
This year, the target of 10,000 downloads was already reached early. At the general meeting, we communicated our goal of 50,000 users for 2025 – we still consider this realistic. Three major updates have been released in recent months to accelerate our development. In the coming weeks, we will launch one of our future USPs : returned goods ("B-stock") from the shop Familienmarktplatz.de , which will be raffled off in the app. Additional features such as direct integration with parcel services, user verification, and a points system to reward the community are currently in development.
Familienmarktplatz.de (Proof of Concept)
The generalist online shop Familienmarktplatz.de operates using a dropshipping model : products, including well-known branded items, are delivered directly to end customers via multiple retailers. This concept requires no warehouse and reduces capital investment and risks. At the same time, Familienmarktplatz.de is considered a proof of concept that provides the technical and organizational basis for the retail model.
We had targeted sales of around EUR 2 million for 2025. Due to supply bottlenecks in the spring and the gloomy consumer climate, the current forecast is between EUR 1.5 million and EUR 1.75 million . However, the dynamics of the Christmas business leave open whether the original target of EUR 2 million can still be achieved.
Although a dedicated shop-in-shop app has already been completed, the integration with the baddel daddel app, originally planned for this year, is unlikely to happen. However, the strategic goal remains: The proof of concept demonstrates that external retailers can be directly connected to the baddel daddel app in the future to supplement the marketplace model with new products.
Cleopatra Commerce GmbH (Cleo & Tess)
Cleo & Tess is developing as forecast. We expect sales of approximately EUR 1 million for the full year 2025. The supply bottlenecks experienced in the spring have been overcome. The market entry in the Netherlands was successful, and we are also seeing increasing interest from Belgium. This confirms the brand's international scalability.
Squerk.com
Another e-commerce platform, Squerk.com , is already online. We're targeting sales of approximately €125,000 in the first year. The concept is internationally scalable and builds on our experience with Cleo & Tess.
Dual listing
Since September 30, 2025, Empire Brand Building AG shares have been listed on the Stuttgart Stock Exchange in addition to the Hamburg Stock Exchange. This enables continuous trading and further increases visibility on the capital market.
